It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we pass along our condolences to the family and friends of Margo Capell, who passed away on Wednesday night on the first night of Sukkot.
A long-time resident of Staten Island and beloved by those who fondly knew her, Margo was preparing to celebrate her 104th on Friday, October 18. While her passing will certainly be felt across Staten Island, it is Margo's resiliency in surviving the horrors of the Holocaust that will serve as a lasting testimony to her legacy and memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with Margo's family during this time.
May her memory be for a blessing.
